As we close out gratitude month, this is the time of year when we want especially to express our thanks for all that we have received. We do so with hearts full of gratitude for our Fellowship and all who share in it.
Below are a few Thanksgiving events occurring in and near our area — both in person and online.
Locally, the Oak Orchard Thursday Third Tradition Group will be hosting their Annual Thanksgiving Dinner from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the Indian River Volunteer Fire Hall, located on 32628 Oak Orchard Rd in Millsboro. Open A.A. meetings begin at 10:00am and recur on even hours through 4:00pm. Dinner will be served beginning 11:00am and will continue until 4:00pm.

Central Delaware Intergroup will be hosting their Annual Thanksgiving Alkathon from 8:00am to 7:00pm at Serenity Place located on 327 Martin St in Dover. The first meeting starts at 8:00am, and meetings recur every 1-½ hours. For more information, see the event flyer.
- The Annual Thanksgiving Alkathon, brought to you by Courage to Change through Northern Delaware Intergroup, will be in-person (located at 2501 Milltown Rd in Wilmington, DE) and online (Meeting ID: 811 1504 7252). The meeting room will be open from 9:30am to 9:30pm for people to talk, listen and relax. Marathon speaker/discussion meetings will recur on even hours, beginning at 10:00am.
